Math-magicians!

Today Poppy brought this book to school...
It helped us count to ten and we used the 'beads frame' to show what was happening in the story.
Our thinking:
It is counting up to ten - Yi Zi Yu
There is one more being added each time- Isaac
If you read it backwards there would be one less on each page - Darren

Then Miss Drake made us put on our imagination hats to pretend we were on a meadow. In the distance we could see ten legs but we couldn't see what animals they belonged to. We had to figure out what animals they could have been.

First we had to count out ten blocks.
Next we had to think about what animals we might see and how many legs they have, and show that using the blocks.
Then we had to draw our thinking.
