Making Predictions

Today Miss Drake asked us "what do you think would happen if we mixed milk, food colouring and dishwashing liquid together?"

We thought it might:

• blow up
• go bubbly
• turn gooey
• turn into coffee
• turn into rainbow colours

Here is what we did.

First we added the milk.

Then we added food colouring to the milk.

Finally we added a drop of dishwashing liquid. 

 

 

 

 

 

What happened next surprised us all.
