Hh Week - Helicopter Fun

Today we read a poem called I'm a little helicopter

I'm a Little Helicopter
I'm a little helicopter
Sitting on the ground.
These are my rotor-blades
Slowly turning round.
Faster now, and faster...
They're spinning like a top.
Take off...
          Turn around
Touch down...
          Stop.

Next the fun really began. We made our own helicopters and went outside to fly them! We had so much fun watching them swirl and twirl gently down to the ground.
