Super Science Experiments

This week Room 13 have been taking part in some science experiments. The children have been predicting, observing and writing about their findings.

Experiment number 1: What will happen if we stick pencils through a bag of water?

Wow! It didn't leak at all!

Experiment number 2: What will happen if we mix milk, food colouring and dishwashing liquid together?

We predicted...
"It will make a rainbow cake," said Isaac.
"It might make Kinetic Sand," said Lucy.
"I think it will make a rainbow volcano," said Ambbar.
"It could make rainbow paint," said Lily.

Here is what we observed...

We added some food colouring to the milk.

Then we added a drop of dish washing liquid.

"It looks like some eyes!'' Said Tiago.
