One of our Morning Stations this week is investigating New Zealand's money. Room 13 have been set the challenge of finding out how many different ways they can make $1, $2 and $5 by using NZ's coins.
Here are some photos from some children's first attempt today. We have been finding it challenging but very rewarding when we can come up with a new way to make the total.
I'm sure that throughout the week there will be so much progress and understanding made - the children are hooked!
Good stuff Room 13! :)
